MOT Type 1 Sub base or Type 1 Subbase is a granular crushed aggregate. It is used as a subbase in construction work.
F1/6F4 (formerly 6F1 Recycled) is a finer capping layer that is used in the same way as 6F5 but with a finer grading. 6F4 is generally 31.5mm to dust.
